Keep SAT & ACT Scores a Secret

A little known fact is that you do not have to list colleges on your ACT or SAT application form. You do have the option of waiting until you know your scores and then send on to colleges. Why do this? Well, the first time you take these tests, your score may not be all that great. Many students take these tests two and three times. This is a little controversial but it is the right of the student to do so. Many students are using the first time through the tests as base line data. You have the option of doing the same. But, in order to have the time to do this, you must start early in the junior year. That way you have plenty of time to take several times before the fall of your senior year. By then, you should be ready to submit.
