College Costs

Don’t make the big mistake of looking at how much a college costs.  Some students avoid applying to private colleges because they cost over $30,000 and a state university may only cost $18,000.  What a minute!!  It is all about the financial aid each college gives you.  And, it is very common for students to attend a private college for less out of pocket money than a state institution.  Yes, it is true.  But, not every private college will be that generous.  So, apply to both private and public and see what the best offer is.  Remember – quite often, the highest priced colleges give the best financial aid.
